The cat quilt is now ready for it backing and the longarm.  I am still searching for the right quilting design.  Between a week with no power and now on my way to visit family I am a bit behind.

I am loving the the blue and orange.

The Sheltie is on guard in the studio. A good day, one more finished quilt, one on the design wall, and one for a client on the longarm. This adventure looks like it might really work.

My flying geese quilt is now in my Etsy shop. I am about ready to start another quilt but I am not sure what it will be just yet.

Somehow time has just flown by but my quilt is on the longarm and almost ready to bind.  I enjoyed working with a limited color palette for this project.

Tonight was the opening meeting of the year for our local quilt guild.  I  had hope that I would have been finished the top of my flying geese quilt.  But no such luck, life is getting in the way of quilting.  I must do something about that.

On the other hand it is close to getting finished, just in time for the geese to fly south.

It is baby quilt season, this is the 6th baby quilt I have worked on this summer. I just had the honor of quilting it for a client.  I loved the farm theme and the tractor applique.

Tumbling Log Cabins quilt is off to new home complete with a coordinating storage bag. I hope that it will wrap the family in joy, love, and warmth.

Happy to see it go to a loving home but there is a space in my heart and on my wall. It must be time to get working on a new quilt.

I am home again after some busy days at the Maine Quilt Show.  I had a wonderful time at the quilt show, so many wonderful and beautiful quilts to see. A great selection of classes.

Walk About is back from the Maine Quilt Show. It was exciting to see it hanging with all the other awesome quilts. It was made with Australian Aboriginal fabric which I had been saving and waiting to find the perfect quilt for them. I think I may have done just that.

It is nice to have it on my wall again at least for a short time.  It is now for sale at my Etsy store.

It is done and in the mail. It was so much fun to quilt and I love the way it turned out. What a wonderful feeling to be given a treasured project and having the honor to complete it.

I will just have to find a better way of hanging it so the pictures turn out better. Many thanks to my tall helpers for holding it up.

I was so honored to be asked by a friend to help her finish a quilt her mother began many years ago.  It is a beautiful hand-pieced applique quilt made with love.
